Tahesha Way – Good Choice for Secretary of State 

Gov.-elect Phil Murphy will announce Monday that he is nominating Tahesha Way, a former Passaic County freeholder, to become New Jersey’s next secretary of state.

“This is a great appointment for New Jersey. I have known Tahesha for a long time when she was a freeholder. As a freeholder, she was an environmental champion. She supported historic preservation, cleanup of Superfund sites, and protection of the Highlands. She is a strong advocate for the environment and we think she is an excellent appointment,” said Jeff Tittel, Director of New Jersey Sierra Club.
