TAMARA HARRIS RECEIVES MAJOR ENDORSEMENT FOR CONGRESS

The Collective PAC Backs Candidate from NJ-11th District in Historic Primary Run

(New Jersey—March 29, 2018)— Tamara for NJ, the campaign of Democratic Congressional candidate Tamara Harris in New Jersey Congressional District 11, announced today that Harris has received the endorsement of The Collective PAC, a Washington, D.C., political action committee that supports African-American candidates seeking political office nationwide. Harris is among 20 new candidates recently endorsed by the organization in this critical election cycle.

“Like so many of our candidates, Tamara Harris is a rising political star, bright and uniquely qualified to represent the constituents of her district in Congress,” said The Collective PAC Executive Director Quentin James. “We believe her vision and platform for bringing needed change to Washington is deserving of voters’ support and we wholeheartedly endorse her candidacy.”

Endorsements from The Collective PAC have preceded some of the most historic electoral victories in recent cycles. The organization was an early endorser of US Senator Kamala Harris’ (D-California) bid for office. It also supported the successful Congressional campaigns of Val Demings (D-Florida), Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Delaware), and Donald McEachin (D-Virginia).
