On Tax Day, NJ Working Families Calls 70,000 Camden County Voters in Support of Millionaires Tax
New Jersey — On Tax Day, New Jersey Working Families launched 70,000 automated calls to Camden County voters urging them to contact their state legislators in support of a millionaires tax.
You can listen to the recording here.
The text of the recording is as follows:
“Hi, this is Rob Duffey from New Jersey Working Families. Camden County Democrats are bankrolled by machine boss George Norcross, a member at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club. The Courier Post reported that Norcross’ business is getting $86 million in taxpayer subsidies under a law his brother Donald sponsored. Now, Norcross allies in the legislature are blocking a millionaires tax. Enough. Call 1-855-620-8460 and tell your legislators to support a budget that protects the people of Camden County, not millionaires.”
The deadline for the New Jersey state budget is June 30.
