THURSDAY: BRICK Education Network Hosts Virtual Forum with Community Leaders and Grant Funders to Discuss COVID-19 Response and Recovery

Newark-based charter management organization provided much-needed services to community during pandemic and will continue to do so in months ahead

NEWARK, NJ – Newark-based charter management organization BRICK Education Network (BEN) is hosting a Virtual Partners’ Forum on Thursday, June 11 at 9:00am to discuss the organization’s successful response to COVID-19 and what needs to be done moving forward. The conversation will focus on what strategies were successful and what resources are needed in the future.

BEN has provided thought leadership around the response to COVID-19 in Newark’s South Ward and provided much-needed services to impacted Newark families during the pandemic. The organization is committed to ensuring the community’s needs will continue to be met if there is a resurgence of the virus in the fall as New Jersey’s economy reopens and children return to school. Impacted families face a long uphill battle ahead as they progress towards financial, health and emotional recovery post-pandemic, and it is vital that BEN remain a trusted resource they can rely on during these challenging times.

Media planning to join the virtual forum must RSVP to tjohnson@brickeducation.org to receive dial-in information.
