The vulnerable Republican has refused to offer his support for lawsuits from the Gateway Commission and the state of New Jersey advocating for the release of federal funds.
The Gateway project is currently on time and on budget. But if the funding is not released by tomorrow, the Commission says that “will result in massive job losses for workers on the project and would require GDC to spend approximately $15 million to $20 million a month in suspension costs.” And yet Tom Kean Jr. stays silent.
Funding runs dry tomorrow. It’s time to ask Tom Kean Jr. why he won’t stand up to Trump to protect the Gateway Project.
