Turner to Hold Annual Book Fair Following Book Drive

Trenton – Senator Shirley K. Turner will hold her annual Book Fair in Trenton, following her Book Drive, to give free books to the schoolchildren of the area.

The Book Fair will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Columbus Elementary School gymnasium, 1200 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey 08638.

The Book Drive collects books from schools and organizations around New Jersey to stock the Book Fair. The Book Fair will be open to all students from K-12 schools to pick out several books to read during their upcoming summer break.

Turner’s Book Fair is a response to a number of Trenton public libraries closing in the last few years, leaving schoolchildren with less access to education materials for the summer.
