United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby to Participate in Fireside Chat at ReNew Jersey Business Summit & Expo

March 2, 2026 – The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce today announced that Scott Kirby, Chief Executive Officer of United Airlines, will participate in a featured fireside chat on Tuesday, March 31, during the upcoming ReNew Jersey Business Summit & Expo at Harrah’s Atlantic City.
Kirby will sit down for a one-on-one interview with Tom Bergeron, Founder & Editor of BINJE, to discuss the state of the economy, the outlook for the aviation industry, and United Airlines’ long-term commitment to New Jersey. The conversation will highlight United’s investments in the Garden State, job creation efforts, and the company’s role in supporting New Jersey’s business community.
Kirby brings more than three decades of leadership experience in the airline industry. He has served as CEO of United Airlines since 2020, following four years as president, where he oversaw operations, marketing, sales, alliances, network planning, and revenue management. Under his leadership, United advanced a cultural transformation and strategic growth plan. Kirby also serves as Chairman of the Star Alliance Chief Executive Board and is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Board of Governors. Prior to joining United, he held senior leadership roles at American Airlines and US Airways.

The Chamber previously announced that John A. Gallucci Jr., President & CEO of JAG Physical Therapy, will also be speaking on March 31, adding another prominent business leader to the Summit’s growing roster of speakers.
The two-day ReNew Jersey Business Summit & Expo on March 31 & April 1 is expected to draw more than 900 business leaders from across the state and will feature keynote addresses, timely panel discussions on New Jersey’s economic competitiveness, an all-day business expo, and extensive networking opportunities. More than 100 exhibitors will showcase products and services from across the Garden State, alongside 50 speakers and 15 sessions focused on the state economy.
Two major networking receptions are scheduled, including an evening cocktail reception on March 31 and a morning breakfast reception on April 1. The second day of the Summit will focus on critical issues and economic growth opportunities – and how they will be addressed by the Sherrill administration and state legislative leaders.
Panel discussions will explore energy affordability, reliability, and sustainability; the future of higher education in New Jersey; pressing healthcare challenges; the state’s innovation economy; positioning New Jersey for economic development; and assessing overall competitiveness. Attendees will include executives from large and small businesses, state and local government officials, and representatives from labor, academia, nonprofits, trade associations, and the media.
