Verrelli Recognized as 2019 Gun-Sense Candidate by Moms Demand Action
TRENTON, NJ — Assemblyman Anthony S. Verrelli (LD-15) is proud to announce today his
recognition as a 2019 gun-sense candidate by Moms Demand Action . Verrelli , a proponent
of gun-violence prevention, is glad to be recognized as such as he continues to fight to make
New Jersey safer for our families and all our residents.
“No child should go to school and wonder whether or not they will be able to make it home
safely,” said Assemblyman Verrelli . “By enacting common-sense measures like stronger
background checks and closing loopholes, we can keep guns out of the hands of domestic
abusers, violent criminals, and potential terrorists. Moms Demand Action has made real
progress towards eradicating the gun-violence epidemic in our country. I am grateful to be
designated as a 2019 gun-sense candidate by Moms Demand Action , and my actions will
always reflect the best interests of all New Jerseyans.”
Assemblyman Verrelli added, “Children go to school to learn and receive a quality education.
We must do everything in our power to ensure that school remains a place for learning, not for
