VNA Health Group Announces Planned Retirement of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Kevin Rogers, CPA

NEPTUNE, NJ (July 8, 2026) – After more than two decades of service across two tenures with VNA Health Group and a distinguished career spanning more than 35 years in home-based healthcare, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Kevin Rogers, CPA, has announced his plans to retire from his full-time leadership role at the end of 2026.
Rogers will continue serving as COO and CFO through December 31, 2026, and will remain involved in a transition and advisory capacity in 2027 to help ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Since first joining VNA Health Group in 2005, Rogers has played a pivotal role in guiding the organization through periods of growth, expansion, and industry-wide change. He was a key architect and early adopter of merger, acquisition, and partnership strategies with health systems that expanded access to home health, hospice, and community-based services. Following several years away from the organization, he returned to VNA Health Group in 2018 and has since helped lead the organization through some of the most challenging and consequential periods in its recent history, including the COVID-19 pandemic, significant reimbursement challenges, strategic partnerships and transitions, and the continued evolution of home health, hospice, and community-based care.
Rogers has also been an active contributor to the broader healthcare community, serving in governance and leadership roles with industry associations and advisory groups focused on advancing home-based care and health system collaboration. Last month, those contributions were recognized with the Martha Esposito Award from the Home Care & Hospice Association of New Jersey, a lifetime achievement honor presented annually to an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary service and contributions to the field.
“Kevin has been one of the most trusted and respected leaders in our organization for many years,” said Christopher Rinn, President and CEO of VNA Health Group. “His leadership, strategic insight, and commitment to our mission have positioned VNA Health Group for long-term success. More importantly, Kevin has always led with integrity, humility, and a genuine concern for both our patients and our employees. His impact on the VNA will be felt for years to come.”
Over the course of his career, Rogers has held a variety of senior leadership roles throughout the healthcare industry, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of Care Finders Total Care LLC, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Visiting Nurse Service of New York, and senior financial leadership positions with Patient Care, Inc. and VNA Health Group. Before entering healthcare, he was a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche.
At VNA Health Group, Rogers has helped lead the organization through expansion, leadership transitions, and strategic partnerships while helping maintain the stability needed to support the organization's mission. In addition to serving as CFO of VNA Health Group, he also stepped into the role of CFO for VNACJ Community Health Center during a critical period, stabilizing operations and restoring its financial footing.
Throughout his career, Rogers has viewed leadership as an opportunity to serve others.
“I've been fortunate to spend my career alongside people who genuinely care about helping others,” said Rogers. “What has always made VNA Health Group special is its commitment to patients, families, and employees. Every decision ultimately comes back to helping people receive the care and support they need. It has been an honor to be part of that mission, and I am incredibly grateful for the colleagues and friends who have made this journey so rewarding.”
Known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to mentorship, Rogers has also focused on developing future leaders throughout the organization. Colleagues frequently describe him as a steady presence, a reliable source of guidance during times of uncertainty, and someone who never loses his sense of humor.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Rogers has remained deeply involved in public service and community engagement, including nearly three decades as Municipal Treasurer for the Borough of Allenhurst and service on its Planning Board.
While looking forward to spending more time traveling with his wife, enjoying time with their children and grandchildren, and pursuing personal interests, Rogers said he remains focused on supporting the organization throughout the transition process.
“Organizations like VNA Health Group endure because of the people who dedicate themselves to the mission every day,” he said. “I have complete confidence in this team and in the future of this organization. The work we do is too important not to feel optimistic about what comes next.”
VNA Health Group will begin a search for its next operations lead and Chief Financial Officer in July. Rogers will continue working closely with leadership and staff throughout the coming months as the organization prepares for its next chapter.
For everyone whose career has intersected with his, Rogers leaves behind a legacy defined not only by financial stewardship and operational excellence, but also by the trust he earned from colleagues, partners, and communities throughout his career.
