Welle Earns National Endorsement from With Honor PAC

(Eatontown, NJ) With Honor announced their endorsement today for Josh Welle, Democratic candidate for New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District. This makes it the second veterans group endorsement for Welle in the past two weeks as the June 5th Primary approaches.

“Since joining the Navy, my mission has been to put service first and place country over party. That’s why I’m grateful to be a With Honor candidate as I pledge to defend the well-being, safety, and opportunity for central New Jerseyans. Veterans across this country are prepared to work across the aisle and unseat a Congressional representative who is not serving the day-to-day needs of his constituents.”

With Honor is a national cross-partisan organization that helps to elect next-generation veterans who want to solve our nation’s biggest problems. These veterans pledge to serve the country again by putting principles before politics through integrity, civility, and courage. Notable endorsed candidates include Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) and Dan McCready (D-NC).

New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District has one of the largest veteran and active-duty populations in the state, including some of the state’s major military outposts such as Fort McGuire-Dix, Earle Naval Weapons Station in Colts Neck, and the Sea Girt National Guard Training Center.

Reports have shown that representation of veterans in Congress is at an all-time low. With the current activism and energy around the 2018 election, Welle is a veteran who is prepared to unseat the 37-year incumbent Chris Smith.

Josh Welle is an Annapolis graduate, Afghanistan veteran, Commander in the Navy Reserve, and former founder of a technology company. He was raised in Monmouth County and is a Democratic candidate for New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District competing to unseat 37-year incumbent Chris Smith. He lives with his wife, Angela, in Rumson, New Jersey.
