West New York DPW Employee Angel Alfonso, Cuban Political Prisoners to Speak Out Against Mayor Roque’s Illegal Political Retaliation, Dictatorial Conduct
West New York, N.J. — West New York Department of Public Works employee Angel Alfonso fled the Castro regime in Cuba decades ago after spending time in prison as a political dissident. He came to West New York so he could be free and live in a democracy. But he never could have expected to be abused and retaliated against by Mayor Felix Roque, just for doing his job and removing political signs illegally placed on public property.
Now, Angel Alfonso and fellow members of the Cuban Political Prisoners of West New York will be speaking out against Mayor Roque’s illegal political retaliation and dictatorial conduct at a Press Conference on Monday, April 15 at 12:00 noon alongside Commissioner Gabriel Rodriguez and the New Beginnings WNY team.

WHAT: Press Conference on Mayor Roque’s Illegal Political Retaliation
WHEN: Monday, April 15 at 12:00 noon
