Winder Earns Endorsement from Key Union Leader in NJ-02 Run

MAYS LANDING, NJ — Bayly Winder’s campaign announced today the endorsement of Richard Tolson, former Director of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Administrative District Council of New Jersey, former Vice President of NJ State Building Trades Council, and former Vice Chairman of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. Tolson’s endorsement reflects Winder’s strong commitment to labor and is a sign of growing momentum in his NJ-02 congressional bid.

“Bayly Winder represents the values of New Jersey’s working people. He understands the realities facing union members and working families who are too often squeezed by corporate greed and policies that put profits over people,” said Tolson. “I have seen politicians come and go, but Bayly represents the best of our community and he will tirelessly work to advocate for the labor movement.”

“Few people are stronger advocates for labor than my friend Rich, and I’m honored to receive his support,” said Winder. “Our union workers are the backbone of our economy, and they deserve leaders who will have their backs.”

Tolson is another in a long list of notable endorsements announced by Winder, including from elected officials in Egg Harbor City, Pleasantville, and Hamilton Township. With the Atlantic and Cumberland county Democratic conventions around the corner, Winder is expanding his grassroots support and building a strong coalition.
