Murphy Scores Backing of the Mercer Republican Committee

"We've got some momentum," said the attorney and former Tabernacle committeeman, who has also won the backing of the GOP committees in Camden and Gloucester.
Former TV news reporter Alex Zdan has also collected three counties, while former state trooper Richard Tabor has four.
The competitors now head toward the big counties of Ocean and Bergen on Monday.
"I've always supported competitive primaries," said Murphy.
Mercer County GOP Chair Pat Johnson spoke approvingly of the winner, who's vying to take on incumbent U.S. Senator Cory Booker in the November general election.
"He has worked Mercer County," said Johnson. "I was loyal to Justin, but Justin's been loyal to us."
Murphy issued a press release:
ENDORSEMENT ALERT
Justin Murphy for US Senate has been endorsed by the Camden County GOP, Mercer County GOP, and Gloucester County GOP organizations.
“Murphy for US Senate is honored and privileged to have the endorsements of these exemplary GOP organizations,” said Senate candidate Murphy. “As Murphy for Senate works toward securing the June 2nd Republican Primary nomination, the support of these Republican organizations will prove to be critical and decisive – their energy,
focus, and patriotism cannot be equaled.”
The Murphy campaign’s conservative message is resonating with Republican voters that demand the Republican Party put forward a vision of America where parental rights are protected, our borders are secure, inflation and interest rates are low, and American streets are safe and free from criminals.
“My vision for America checks these boxes” said candidate Murphy.
The Murphy campaign is ardently Pro-life, Pro-America, and Pro-Parent.
“Whether it is abolishing the IRS, promoting homeownership for American families, or ensuring the concerns for affordability are addressed by Republican leadership, Murphy for Senate is fighting for conservative principles that will deliver for all New Jerseyeans”
