Zwicker, Freiman, Poppe Officially Open Campaign Office

Princeton – On Sunday, Andrew Zwicker, Roy Freiman, and Laurie Poppe, the Democratic ticket running for office in the 16th Legislative District, celebrated the opening of their campaign headquarters in Princeton with a BBQ. The event was attended by volunteers, supporters, candidates, and elected officials from all four counties that make up LD 16; Mercer, Middlesex, Hunterdon, and Somerset.

“We’re very excited to officially open our office here in Princeton and to begin to build one of the largest volunteer programs that this district or any legislative district has seen,” said Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker.

Assemblyman Zwicker was elected to office in 2015. He is running for reelection with Roy Freiman who is seeking the open Assembly seat in LD16, and Laurie Poppe who is challenging Republican Senator Bateman for the State Senate seat.

“I am thrilled to be running with such a great ticket,” said Laurie Poppe. “This is a critical time for our country and our state. New Jersey families need a strong advocate in Trenton, and I am ready to fight for their priorities every day.”

“It’s great to see such excitement around our campaign,” said Roy Freiman. “New Jerseyans are ready to make their voices heard, and the strong early support we’ve seen for our ticket shows that.”

The 16th Legislative District includes the townships of Delaware, Raritan, Readington, Branchburg, Hillsborough, Montgomery, and South Brunswick, the Princeton municipality and the Manville, Millstone, Rocky Hill, Flemington, and Somerville boroughs.
