Congressman Herb Conaway Jr., MD Announces His Guest for the State of the Union

Washington, D.C.—Today, Congressman Herb Conaway Jr., MD, announced that he will bring his constituent, Jocelyn Cabrera, to the State of the Union. Last November, Jocelyn Cabrera captured ICE agents on her Ring doorbell camera harassing her and conducting a warrantless search of the perimeter of her home. Since then, the video of her interaction has gone viral, and she will join the Congressman at the State of the Union to share her story and the impact the incident has had on her life.

“I'm honored to bring Jocelyn as my guest to this year's State of the Union. Her bravery is unmatched, and I can't express how proud I am that she will be my guest,” said Congressman Conaway. “Her experience is one she is thankfully able to share, because since her interaction, we have seen federal agents murder two Americans and harass other American citizens like Jocelyn. However, when the camera stops rolling, many people don't see or hear about the lasting negative impacts these interactions have on individuals, and I'm so glad Jocelyn can help shed light on that.”

“As an American who has suffered the injustice of ICE firsthand, I am here to say I will continue to be a support and voice for people being affected by it,”  said Jocelyn Cabrera.
