Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters Endorses Verlina Reynolds-Jackson for Congress

The Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (EASRCC) today announced its endorsement of Verlina Reynolds-Jackson in her campaign for Congress in New Jersey’s 12th District.

“Verlina Reynolds-Jackson has consistently stood up for working people in New Jersey and understands what it takes to build a strong workforce,” said William C. Sproule, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the EAS Carpenters. “She has been an advocate for policies that protect workers’ rights, expand access to good-paying union jobs, and invest in economic growth. Her leadership reflects the same values our union fights for every day, and we’re proud to support her.”

The EASRCC represents thousands of skilled carpenters and tradespeople across the region and is committed to advocating for strong labor standards, living wages, and economic opportunity for working families.

“I’m proud to have the support of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. This is a people-powered campaign, built alongside the men and women who show up every day to build our communities,” said Verlina Reynolds-Jackson. “I’ll never stop fighting to make sure working people are respected, protected, and paid a living wage. We are building something real in CD-12 and we’re taking that fight to Congress.”

The endorsement underscores Reynolds-Jackson’s commitment to standing with organized labor, fighting for a living wage, and delivering for working families across New Jersey. This marks Reynolds-Jackson’s second union endorsement, following recent support from the Communications Workers of America (CWA), adding to growing labor momentum across the district.
