| TRENTON – Today, Governor Mikie Sherrill signed the following bills into law:
S-229/A-2135 (Turner/Carter, Reynolds-Jackson) - Requires institutions of higher education to collect and report employment data for certain graduates
S-3306/A-4048 (Ruiz, Mukherji/Spearman, Sampson) - Requires notification to members of health club if club is to be sold and health club services contract assigned to new owner
A-938/S-3748 (Murphy, Katz, Singh/Singleton, Tiver) - Provides for representation of Burlington County on SJTA
A-2519/S-2064 (Spearman, Guardian, McClellan/Polistina, Bucco) - Authorizes soil conservation districts to have more than five supervisors
A-4543/S-4007 (Abdelaziz, Stewart/Wimberly, Greenstein, Ruiz) - Permits Paterson and Newark police who were promoted following February 2019 police sergeant exam to have those promotions deemed regular appointments
S-4538/A-5326 (Sarlo, Greenstein/Pintor Marin) - Makes FY2026 supplemental appropriation of $358,811,000; adds and amends various language provisions to FY2026 Appropriations Act
A-5322/S-4536 (Verrelli/Scutari) - Imposes temporary $1 million cap on use of net operating loss deductions under corporation business tax for certain privilege periods
A-5323/S-4537 (G. Rodriguez/Scutari) - Modifies eligibility for alternative business calculation adjustment allowed under gross income tax
A-5324/S-4533 (Murphy/Vitale) - Establishes fee on certain employers that employ individuals who receive health benefits coverage through State Medicaid program
A-5325/S-4534 (Freiman/Burzichelli, Amato) - Reduces business formation fees
A-5328/SCS for S-2316 and 4109 (Moen/McKeon, Mukherji) - Regulates data brokers, data collectors, and collection and dissemination of certain sensitive information
S-4531/A-5329/ (Ruiz, McKnight, Sarlo/Reynolds-Jackson, Pintor Marin, Sweeney, Rowan, Donlon) - Increases amount of child tax credit in taxable years 2026, 2027, and 2028
A-5327/S-2027 (Pintor Marin/Sarlo, Greenstein) – LINE ITEM - Appropriates $60,743,569,000 in State funds and $30,495,124,195 in federal funds for the State budget for fiscal year 2027
A-5330/S-4507 (Reynolds-Jackson/Ruiz) - Permits Director of Division of Pensions and Benefits to initiate temporary transfer of funds in certain circumstances
S-3947/A-4357 (Gopal, Singer/Donlon, Speight, Sweeney) - Extends certain pay parity regarding telemedicine and telehealth |
