TRENTON – Today, Governor Sherrill signed the following bills into law:
S-2962/A-2746 (Mukherji, Amato/Katz, Murphy, McCoy) - Provides seniority service credit to educational support professionals for military service.
S-3739/A-4530 (Diegnan/Calabrese, Moen, Carter) - Establishes certain electric vehicle supply equipment development processes and standards concerning public health and safety; removes certain existing approval requirements while preserving applicable safety and inspection standards.
S-4193/A-5119 (Ruiz/Lopez, Pintor Marin) - Establishes "Fortifying Corn Masa Act."
S-4420/A-5232 (Beach/Greenwald) - Authorizes regional rehabilitation and reentry center authority to determine county proportional share assessment for budget purposes.
S-4515/A-5350 (Mukherji/Stanley) - Authorizes dual employment by certain employees of Rutgers University and affiliated contracting entities.
Governor Sherrill conditionally vetoed the following legislation:
S-4477/A-4535 (Beach, Burzichelli/Murphy) - Authorizes provision of residential mental health services in residential substance use disorders treatment facility or program under specified hospital affiliation and clinical support criteria.
Governor Sherrill issued absolute vetoes for the following legislation:
S-4513/A-5348 (Mukherji, McKnight/G. Rodriguez, Walker, Sampson) - Concerns temporary use of funding for open space, recreation, floodplain protection, farmland and historic preservation for certain municipalities.
