HUDSON COUNTY- Hudson County Democratic Organization Chair Craig Guy released the following statement congratulating Brian Stack, Richard Turner and Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski on their overwhelming victories in yesterday’s mayoral election.

Brian Stack was re-elected mayor of Union City, Richard Turner was re-elected mayor of Weehawken and Sharon Ashe Nadrowski will be the first-time mayor of Bayonne.

“Voters in Union City, Weehawken and Bayonne made their voices heard loud and clear last night.  I’ve already had the opportunity to speak with Brian, Richard and Sharon to extend my congratulations and let them know how much I am looking forward to working with them for the betterment of Hudson County.

Brian and Richard have consistently proven themselves to be strong, effective leaders and Bayonne voters had a choice between three very qualified candidates and decided without a shadow of a doubt that Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski was the best choice to lead The Peninsula City into the next decade.

Sharon’s election tonight adds another strong woman’s voice to our already impressive team of Hudson County mayors and elected officials, and we look forward to working in partnership with her, Brian and Richard to make sure Bayonne, Union City and Weehawken are successful now and in the future.
