Hoboken Strategy Group is pleased to announce that Mariel DiDato has joined HSG as Director of Government Relations and Communications, bringing senior-level experience across all sides of the policymaking process.

Most recently, Mariel served as Chief of Staff to Assemblywoman Jessica Ramirez, where she directed all legislative affairs and communications while managing a high-performing team in one of New Jersey’s most dynamic and diverse legislative districts. Her legislative portfolio spans a wide range of issues, including affordability, reproductive healthcare, housing, and small business development.

Mariel has held key roles across multiple state agencies under the administration of Governor Phil Murphy, beginning as an Eagleton Fellow at the New Jersey Department of Health. She went on to serve as Legislative Liaison for the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and later as Senior Legislative Officer at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

She has also served as a Social Media Consultant for various local campaigns, managing content creation and engagement across multiple platforms. She is known for her strong statewide relationship and a results-driven approach to government relations.
