The collective offices were ecstatic to be able to make available such important service to the community.
Staff members of the Office of Congressman Rob Menendez, headed by District Director Jeremy Julis, provided pertinent and important information to the public regarding their services such as passport FAQs, U.S citizenship eligibility, “Know Your Rights” regarding ICE, as well as resources for pro-bono legal service providers.
Rep. LaMonica McIver herself was in attendance, along with her Outreach Manager Will DiGrande. They shared a message to constituents saying, “Thank you to all who came out to my passport clinic in Jersey City—hosted along with Rep. Rob Menendez and Hudson County Clerk E. Junior Maldonado! Team LaMonica was glad to assist residents with passport applications or renewals. I’ll see you at the next clinic!”
At this year’s event, the Hudson County Clerk’s Office Passport staff processed a total of 30 applicants with the following breakdown: 27 adult applications, 3 minors; 23 routine service, 7 expedited. Of those adults who applied, 4 were senior citizens, and 1 was a Veteran. The constituents were assisted proficiently by Passports Supervisor Gloria Heredia and her high Google-review rated staff of 5 ladies: Toni-Kim Houssell, Lucy ‘Liz’ Victorin, Cesarina Santos, Elsa Rodriguez, and Sandra Castellano. Thanks to their passport expertise, passport applications were handled with efficiency and accuracy.
