The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LiUNA) today endorsed Rob Menendez for re-election to Congress in 2026. LiUNA represents more than 20,000 unionized workers in New Jersey.

"When LIUNA has called on our leaders to step up and support working families, improve access to healthcare, address issues of affordability, and promote the creation of good, family-sustaining jobs, Rob Menendez has always been there to answer the call,” said Mike Hellstrom, Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager, LiUNA. “We refer to members of Congress as lawmakers, but they need to be much more than that. They need to be protectors of our values, advocates for our communities, and connectors of resources that help make life easier, safer, healthier, and more prosperous for all people. Rob Menendez delivers all of this and more."

LiUNA members will be very active in the 8th District campaign – participating in member-to-member outreach, labor walks, voter registration drives, and get out the vote activities.
