McIver Secures Over $10 Million for NJ-10

NEWARK, NJ – This week, Congresswoman LaMonica McIver (NJ-10) began presenting ceremonial checks to community organizations from across New Jersey’s 10th Congressional District. These checks recognize over $10 million McIver secured through federal Community Project Funding for her district as part of the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations process.

“I will always fight to bring back dollars to this district, where they will have a real impact on our lives. New Jerseyans deserve to have their tax dollars be poured back into their own neighborhoods. My office and I were motivated to bring home transformative funding for initiatives that will make our streets safer, educational programming more accessible, communities healthier, and life in NJ-10 a little bit easier,” said Congresswoman LaMonica McIver. “I am proud that I am able to celebrate these wins with our community.”

A total of $10,734,000 in funding for projects in NJ-10, including support for clean water access, job training, educational programming, and infrastructure, was made only possible through McIver’s work throughout the House’s appropriations process. This funding has been enacted through the FY26 appropriations bills, which are now law.

Some check presentations, moving forward, will be open to the public and the press. For inquiries, contact NJ10Press@mail.house.gov.
