Toms River, NJ — The Ocean County Federated Republican Women (OCFRW) has been a respected political organization in Ocean County for more than 35 years. The organization wishes to clarify misinformation that has circulated regarding its status.

Over the past year, personal feelings have unfortunately led to attempts to have OCFRW unchartered at the local, state, and national levels. OCFRW would like to clearly state that it remains an organization in good standing at all levels.

The following statement was issued by National Federation of Republican Women President Martha Jenkins:

“The NFRW considered the NJFRW request, and the Ocean County Federated Republican Women remain in good standing.”

For decades, OCFRW has worked diligently to support Republican candidates—especially women—while also providing scholarships to young women pursuing higher education, donating to nonprofit organizations, and hosting informational panels, among many other initiatives.

“I am proud to represent OCFRW and to be a part of this admirable organization. We remain committed to helping Republican candidates get elected in Ocean County and to continuing our longstanding traditions, including our annual Gala, legislative panel discussions, and Candidates’ Breakfast,” said Vivian Vosbrinck, Chairwoman of the Ocean County Federated Republican Women.
