Passaic County Sheriff Tom Adamo Endorses Veliky, Cruz, and Cassanova for County Office

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ-- Passaic County Sheriff Tom Adamo today announced his endorsement of Nick Veliky and Orlando Cruz for County Commissioner and Surrogate Zoila Cassanova for re-election in the June 2nd Democratic Primary.

Sheriff Adamo said the team has demonstrated a commitment to public safety, community service, and delivering results for Passaic County residents.

“Nick Veliky, Orlando Cruz, and Zoila Cassanova understand the importance of public service and putting residents first,” said Sheriff Adamo. “They have been supportive of programs and services families rely on through the Sheriff’s department. They are committed to keeping Passaic County affordable and safe. I’m proud to support them.”

The endorsement adds to the growing coalition supporting the Passaic County Democratic Committee team, including Governor Mikie Sherrill, legislators, county officials, mayors, councilmembers, and Democratic leaders from across Passaic County.

Nick Veliky and Orlando Cruz thanked Sheriff Adamo for his support and praised his leadership and dedication to public safety.

“Sheriff Adamo has spent his career serving and protecting the people of Passaic County,” said Veliky. “We’re honored to have his support and look forward to continuing to work together to strengthen our communities.”
