FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PISCATAWAY DEMOCRATIC COUNCILMEMBERS
FRANK UHRIN, DENNIS ESPINOSA,
SHARON CARMICHAEL & MICHELE LOMBARDI OFFICIAL DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES
(Piscataway) — Piscataway Township Council members Frank Uhrin (Ward 1), Dennis
Espinosa (Ward 2) Sharon Carmichael (Ward 3) and Michele Lombardi (Ward 4) were
overwhelmingly endorsed by the Piscataway Democratic Organization (PDO) committee
members as the official organization candidates in the June Democratic Primary Election.
“Frank, Dennis, Sharon, and Michele, are dynamic leaders who have delivered real results
for Piscataway families,” said Democratic Chair and Councilwoman, Gabrielle Cahill. “They
are committed to keeping residents safe, property taxes stable and delivering exceptional
services and programming,” Cahill continued.
In 2025 the Piscataway Democratic Organization delivered big numbers for Governor Mikie
Sherill, our state Assemblymen and our county candidates under the Middlesex County
Democratic Organization banner. Cahill is now poised to lead the organization through the
next campaign cycle that includes Piscataway favorites, Senator Cory Booker and
Congressman Frank Pallone topping the ticket along with the Middlesex County County
candidates and our local ward council candidates. At the recent Middlesex County
Convention, Piscataway Committee member Karen Johnson was inspirational as she
nominated Senator Booker.
The PDO members are excited to work on behalf of the entire team for the upcoming June
2nd Primary Election. Joining Chairwoman Cahill on the PDO leadership team as PDO Vice
Chair is Ward 2 Councilman Dennis Espinosa who is the first elected Latino. “Dennis brings
energy, enthusiasm and the keen ability to move our organization forward. He is a team
builder who embodies Democratic ideals and we all are looking forward to an exciting
campaign cycle getting out the vote for our team,” Cahill concluded.
