Ron Bautista Wins Democratic Nomination for Hudson County Commissioner in District 5

HOBOKEN, NJ — Longtime community advocate Ron Bautista, candidate for Hudson County Commissioner, released the following statement after winning the primary election and becoming the Democratic nominee for Hudson County Commissioner in District 5:

“We launched this campaign last year with a simple goal in mind: to give power to the neighbors. We ran on building more affordable housing, protecting tenants, and creating safer streets, and we built a broad coalition of community members across Hoboken and Jersey City who are ready for change.

“This was a people-powered campaign through and through, and I am so grateful to everyone who helped us get here. I want to thank my friends and family for standing by my side, the Working Families Party for all of their support, and all the organizations and elected officials who endorsed me along this journey.
