With early voting underway, Senator Warren says, “We need Analilia in Congress."
Today, Analilia Mejia, a longtime grassroots organizer and candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th congressional district, announced the endorsement of Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts). Warren’s support adds to the growing momentum behind Mejia’s grassroots campaign in the first race of the 2026 midterms.
"I'm proud to endorse Analilia Mejia for Congress because I know she's in the fight to make the economy work for working people," said Senator Elizabeth Warren. "Analilia isn't afraid to take on corporate power. She led the fight for a $15 minimum wage in New Jersey and won paid sick days for hundreds of thousands of workers across the state. She's running to un-rig our economy, make billionaires pay their fair share, and guarantee healthcare and childcare for every family. Early voting has already started, so if you are in NJ-11, vote for Analilia Mejia by Thursday, February 5th. We need Analilia in Congress."
Senator Warren has spent her career in Washington taking on Wall Street, pushing to tax billionaires, fighting corruption in government, and championing affordable childcare in every community — all core pillars of Analilia Mejia’s policy platform.
“Senator Warren was fighting to hold Wall Street accountable before it was popular. She knows better than most that the system is rigged against working families, and she knows that we’re not going to fix it with half-measures or by playing it safe,” said Analilia Mejia. “I’m honored to have Senator Warren’s endorsement, especially right now with so much on the line for our country. I’m running to use every bit of leverage Congress has to hold Donald Trump and his billionaire friends accountable. With Senator Warren by my side and the support of so many progressive champions in Congress, we will have the power to make real change for working families, so let’s win this election and get to work.”
Analilia Mejia also has the endorsements of Senator Bernie Sanders, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Congressman Greg Casar, Congressman Adriano Espaillat, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, Congressman Maxwell Frost, Congresswoman Delia Ramirez, Congressman Ro Khanna, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, former New Jersey Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, the Progressive Caucus PAC, the Latino Victory Fund, Common Defense, the Working Families Party, Communications Workers of America District 1, Communications Workers of America Local 1037, Rutgers AAUP–AFT, the Rutgers Adjunct Faculty Union, SEIU 32BJ, 1199SEIU, the SEIU New Jersey State Council, and more.
