TRENTON - Capital city political operative Andrew Bobbitt gives his take on the Trenton mayoral contest and the wider political landscape ahead of the Nov. 3rd midterm elections.

A three-sport high school star in Trenton, Mr. Bobbitt served as an Army paratrooper and went on to work in the Mayor Doug Palmer Administration developing and overseeing citywide youth programs, prior to serving Mayors Eric Jackson and Reed Gusciora.

In this InsiderNJ interview, he discusses Trenton's challenges, his political history, the tenure to date of Governor Mikie Sherrill, the concept of loyalty, and how to build a better, more public service-centered political culture.
