Trump, but verify,

Bald-faced lies, all provable. That's what autocrats do -- sow distrust and confusion with propaganda taken as gospel by the less-intelligent. It's a cowardly ploy.

Russia, the country that gave us the proverb "trust but verify," once interfered -- in his favor. Iran mass-manufactures misinformation, as foreign countries have been doing forever. China? It bought publicly available voter data and did nothing with it.

His dude Ratcliffe's crew found no meddling -- no messing around with totals, voter lists, machines, not a single vote changed by anybody.

Don't believe me?

Ratcliffe himself said the declassified election documents "shed further light on China's intentions" and Venezuela's "capabilities." Releasing them would help give the public confidence in the process. AT NO POINT did he say that foreign interference changed the outcome of ANY election -- including 2020.

If the IMPOTUS had any proof of his claims about China, wouldn't you find some of it there, as opposed to the line after line of redactions?

And Venezuela? Jesus. It's an old report that says Chávez and then Maduro, indeed, wanted to influence elections -- IN VENEZUELA.

Foreigners don't vote in U.S. national elections. It's a fact. So give it a rest, already, Chicken Brittle.

As for California: It has always taken days and sometimes weeks to fully tabulate. That's nothing new. So just stop already.

Presidents give prime time addresses in times of national and international import. It's no place for another crackpot tinfoil-hat stump speech.

He's got nothing to show for his time in office now -- or in his life, actually -- so he lamely goes on a redevelopment spree of the nation's capital, fuglying it up all over the place. He pushes an "historic" bill that not even his own party can support. And he sits there tossing turd after turd into the punch bowl like he's playing cornhole, knowing it'll cause a panic.

It's laughable that HE commits a blatantly corrupt -- and criminal -- act specifically intended to affect the totals ("Find me 11,000 votes"), then claims it's others who are cheating. Pot, meet kettle.

The guy's in his second term, he's got control of the Senate and the House, he has his hand-picked people around him, he does whatever the f-ck he wants, says whatever he wants and gets away with much of it. The relatively little election interference this country recently has seen (by Russia) has benefitted him. The dude is killin' it. Yet he whines away one minute, yells at clouds another, and sees dead people voting.

Why? Because he also sees the future in states like North Carolina, Michigan and Ohio.

All he's doing is trying to set the stage for more bullsh-t claims at the midterms, and everyone knows it. The same as everyone knows he lost in 2020.

61 out of 62 post-election lawsuits that he got filed after losing were dismissed, dropped, or ruled against. At least 86 individual judges — including many whom he appointed -- reviewed and rejected the challenges. The one case that went his way involved a minor technicality in PA regarding a deadline that had no effect on the election itself.

That's not going to stop him from sending Homeland Security into a bunch of states in November to seize ballot boxes, paralyze the process and drag it out -- only to have the federal courts ONCE AGAIN invalidate his witch hunts after the damage has been done.

Our democracy has taken a beating from this guy. It nearly got knocked out of the ring on Jan. 6.

He's using the tired old playbook again, only this time even his own people have gotten wise. If you yourself haven't, take a look at the evidence (or, rather, the lack of it). Do it now. Then, when he tries to pull the "I told you so" card four months from now, you can remind him that he didn't tell us sh-t.
