Trump Cozies up to Kean

Maybe Donald Trump knows something - about Tom Kean Jr. that is.
The congressman from CD-7 has been absent for close to three months now, but today - Primary Day - he is destined to win renomination.
And just in case he needs a boost, Kean is getting one from the president.
Trump, in a social media post early Tuesday morning, called Kean a "great representative" and a "tremendous advocate" for the America First agenda.
To that end, the president said Kean is working tirelessly to secure the border, stop crime, grow the economy, cut taxes and support the Second Amendment.
"Tom Kean has my complete and total endorsement for reelection," the president said.
The congressman posted a thank you message on his campaign website.
Notwithstanding his absence from Congress, Kean, or perhaps his staff, have been keeping up his social media accounts.
One thing the president did not say is when Kean will be back in action.
