UTCA STATEMENT ON INAUGURATION OF GOVERNOR SHERRILL
WALL – Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) Chief Executive Officer David Rible issued the following statement today on Mikie Sherrill being sworn in as governor of New Jersey:
“UTCA looks forward to working with Governor Sherrill as her administration tackles the issues facing New Jersey. Our transportation and energy infrastructure are in serious need of upgrades. This will require a mix of simple and bold solutions to solve. We hope the administration is laser-focused on creating reliable and affordable roads, bridges, rails and energy resources that New Jerseyans need and deserve. Our members, as always, are standing by, ready, willing and able to do what needs to be done.
“On behalf of our members, I’d also like to thank Governor Murphy. He made a commitment to continue properly funding the Transportation Trust Fund and he saw it through. His actions will ensure that New Jersey is able to keep improving its transportation infrastructure for the next three years.”
