Veteran Advocates Endorse Brendan Gill

This Endorsement Emphasizes Gill’s Commitment to Care, Accountability, and Keeping Faith with Those Who Served

Parsippany, NJ – A coalition of veteran advocates and community leaders today announced their endorsement of Brendan Gill for Congress at a Veterans Meet and Green in Parsippany.

“Brendan Gill understands that honoring veterans means more than words, it means action,” said Lucy Del Gaudio, U.S. Army Veteran Advocate. “From cutting VA red tape to expanding mental health care, his priorities reflect what veterans and their families actually need.”

(NEEDS APPROVAL) “I’ve seen too many veterans struggle just to access the benefits they earned,” said AJ Luna, U.S. Army Veteran Advocate.  “Brendan is committed to strengthening Veteran Service Officers and local networks, so no one has to navigate the system alone.”

“Veterans want leaders who will fight for real economic opportunity after service,” said Emerson Crooks, U.S. Marines Veteran Advocate “Brendan’s focus on mental health, job training, and support for veterans who are struggling to get back on their feet will make a real difference for military families.”

“Standing up for veterans isn’t optional, it’s a responsibility,” Brendan Gill said. “Too many veterans in NJ-11 still struggle to access the benefits they earned, from timely VA health care and mental health support to housing, job training, and disability services. In Congress, I’ll fight to fully fund the VA, cut red tape, expand mental health care, and make sure no veteran falls through the cracks after serving our country.”

Gill’s veterans agenda includes expanding access to VA health care and telehealth services, strengthening Veteran Service Officers and local resource hubs, preventing veteran homelessness, reforming the VA claims and appeals process, investing in suicide prevention and mental health resources, supporting military families and caregivers, and expanding job training and workforce transition programs. He has also pledged to advocate for fair military pay, financial protections for veterans, and a more inclusive and accountable military that protects survivors of sexual assault.
