The Hudson County Central Labor Council this week endorsed Hudson County Freeholder Anthony Romano in the Hoboken Mayor's race, a big organizational win for the candidate who's competing in a large local field.

The council also endorsed incumbent Mayor Steve Fulop in Jersey City.

Romano's Hoboken rival Mike DeFusco had earlier landed the backing of the Hudson County Building Trades.
