Sabrin Unequivocally Opposes Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court

Libertarian Senate candidate Murray Sabrin said he would not back Brett Kavanaugh for the U.S. Supreme Court if he were a voting member of the U.S. Senate.

“Kavanaugh has not demonstrated support for the 4th amendment’s protections against an intrusive federal government,” said the Libertarian.

“The American people’s rights cannot be comprised in the name of ‘national security,'” Sabrin added. “If the people’s constitutional rights are not upheld by the Supreme Court, then we become an authoritarian society.  His tenure on the SC could jeopardize the fundamental rights of the American people.  Anyone who blindly supports Kavanaugh, just because the Democrats oppose him, is anti-liberty.  I would urge President Trump to withdraw Kavanaguh’s nomination and choose an uncompromising defender of the Bill of Rights.”

The Republican nominee for Senate, Bob Hugin, won’t say whether or not he supports the Supreme Court nominee.

U.S. Senator Bob Menendez and Green Party candidate Madelyn Hoffman both oppose the Supreme Court nominee.
