State of Affairs with Steve Adubato Addresses the Key Issues Shaping New Jersey’s Governor’s Race

Steve Adubato speaks with Benjamin Dworkin, PhD, Director of Rowan Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship (RIPPAC), about the key issues shaping New Jersey’s gubernatorial race and ways to preserve and protect our democracy.
Steve asks Dr. Dworkin what the number one issue is leading into the Governor’s race in November. Dr. Dworkin says the top issue is likely “change,” as voters decide whether to continue Democratic control after eight years under Gov. Phil Murphy or shift to the GOP. He says, historically, New Jersey rarely gives the same party a third term, but both major candidates are framing themselves as the agents of change.
