Webber Enlists the Aid of His Dad in Second Campaign Ad of the Season

The Webber For Congress campaign released its second television ad of the general election.

“North Jersey needs a Congressional representative like Jay Webber who will fight to strengthen and protect Medicare for our parents and grandparents,” said campaign spokesperson Ronica Cleary. “Mikie Sherrill is considering a radical socialized healthcare program that will cost $32 trillion and end Medicare as we know it. It is important that voters understand how dangerous her position is, and how poor Sherrill’s judgment is for not rejecting that radical proposal.”

To watch the ad, click below:

Jay Webber: I’m Jay Webber.
Jim Webber: And I’m Jay’s Dad.
Jay Webber: Our parents and grandparents rely on Medicare for critical healthcare.
Jim Webber: That’s right, Jay.
Jay Webber: But Democrat Mikie Sherrill is interested in Medicare for all. A dangerous socialized medicine scheme that would cost $32 trillion.
Jim Webber: That would end Medicare as we know it.
Jay Webber: In Congress, I’ll strengthen and protect Medicare.
Jim Webber: You must’ve had smart parents.
Jay Webber: I do! I’m Jay Webber and I approve this message because that’s the care our parents and grandparents deserve.
Jim Webber: We raised you well, son.

  1. This is just about the stupidest campaign ad I have ever seen. Mikie Sherrill is “interested” in Medicare for all??? We should all be interested in ways to improve the healthcare system in this country, including exploring single-payer coverage for all. Ms. Sherrill has NOT said that she supports Medicare for all, but one thing is clear, Jay Webber never saw a GOP tax plan he didn’t like, and the GOP is planning to make cuts in Madicare and Social Security if they win in Nov. So, I don’t believe Jay or his dad, and I urge everyone to vote for Mikie Sherrill.
