NorthStar Strategies, LLC today announced that Taryn Boland has joined the firm as Director of Government Affairs and Executive Director of the American Council of
Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ). In this dual leadership role, Boland will support NorthStar clients through strategic government affairs and stakeholder engagement initiatives while serving as Executive Director of ACECNJ.

Boland joins NorthStar following a distinguished career in public service and executive leadership. Most recently, she served as Senior Advisor to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, where she provided counsel on statewide energy priorities, regulatory strategy, organizational alignment, and stakeholder engagement. From 2021 to 2026, she served as Chief of Staff to the agency, overseeing enterprise operations, policy development, government affairs, communications, information technology, and
workforce modernization initiatives.

Prior to serving as Chief of Staff, Boland held the role of Deputy Chief of Staff at NJBPU, where she led communications and modernization initiatives supporting New Jersey's clean energy programs. Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade with the Corporation for Supportive Housing and also held positions with the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency and the Office of Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr.
