Today, Eric H. Holder, Jr., the 82nd Attorney General of the United States, announced his endorsement of Mikie Sherrill in the New Jersey race for Governor, citing her record of delivering real accountability as a Navy pilot, federal prosecutor, and Congresswoman. Following his endorsement, Attorney General Holder will also join a phone bank tonight to thank volunteers for their efforts to help elect Democratic candidates, including Sherrill, and deliver a Get Out The Vote video message, with more to come as the election approaches.

“Mikie Sherrill was in the U.S. Attorney’s office in New Jersey, focused on keeping people safe while working on the Smart on Crime initiative, when I was U.S. Attorney General. She’s tough as nails.
