Cory Booker Slaps Away Joe Biden’s Hoodie Comment

Democratic Presidential Candidate Cory Booker responds to former Vice President Joe Biden's comments about kids wearing hoodies, saying the DNC nominee needs to talk about race in a far more constructive way.

“This isn’t about a hoodie,” U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) tweeted in response to a tweet from opponent Joe Biden. “It’s about a culture that sees a problem with a kid wearing a hoodie in the first place. Our nominee needs to have the language to talk about race in a far more constructive way.”

A 2020 candidate for president, Booker tweeted at the stumbling, Kamala Harris-softened former vice president after Joe Biden said yesterday, in clean-up-duty after his widely derided debate performance, “We’ve got to recognize that kid wearing a hoodie may very well be the next poet laureate and not a gangbanger. Ladies and gentlemen, there are too many black men, and I might add women, in prison.”

  1. OK Corey. We get it. You have to try to do something to claim a shred of relevance. How about a shred of decency. You know that people like Joe Biden have fought the battle long and hard and the last thing he should be accused of is not supporting minorities. All minorities. At this point all you are succeeding at is making a lot of us be against you. You’re at 2.3%. Go home and try to be an effective Senator.

  2. Not everything is said with evil intent. Grow up Spartacus. You can’t be offended by everything. Your faux outrage is getting old.
