While polishing his national brand and visiting half a dozen states for his Senate colleagues in the lead up to 2018, U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) also campaigned avidly this cycle for Democrats in his home state.

According to Booker Political Strategist Mo Butler, the senator has done events all over the state with Democratic front-runner Phil Murphy and down-ballot candidates — including rallies, roundtables, door knocking, and party functions.

Below are examples of his activity:

He has done a public event with every Democratic member of the NJ House Delegation
> Endorsement Event in Morristown w/ Mayor Tim Dougherty and a robo call for him.
>  Photos and Video with Cherry Hill Candidates
>  Photos and Robo Call for Nick Chiaravalloti and Angela McKnight in Hudson
> Endorsement of Steve Sweeney
> Endorsement of Joe Cryan and a public endorsement Event with Joe Cryan
> Door Knocking with Ted Green, candidate for mayor of East Orange
> Led and participated in rallies in Paterson and Elizabeth

“As folks speculate about Cory’s future, we stay super focused on supporting Democratic candidates for local and legislative seats throughout the state,” said Butler. “We live by that old Tip O’Neill adage: all politics is local.”
