CD11 Toe Dip: Kazmark Test Drives the Day Toward Possible Future Congressional Bid

Kazmark

Casually eyeballing a CD11 run against controversy-riddled U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-Harding), Woodland Park Mayor Keith Kazmark is treating today’s hometown election like a rodeo ride where he wants to kick up sufficient dust to turn some heads.

He’s at 23% Democratic turnout right now, in an uncontested local framework, and wants to get his chin up over the 25% bar by 8 p.m.

Consider that percentage alongside Plainfield, where there’s a contested election, and within a fairly moribund Election Day structure.

As of 6 p.m., turnout in Plainfield is cresting 25% Democratic turnout.
