Ciattarelli: ‘I’m in to Win’

Regardless of what Gov. Chris Christie does, Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli (R-16) is running for governor.

“I’m in and I’m in to win,” Ciattarelli told InsiderNJ as he made his way to a Bergen County GOP breakfast for state Senator Gerald Cardinale (R-39).

New York Post story printed this weekend says Christie is telling his staff that he has a White House gig, presumably to be announced imminently. If it’s true, Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno would become governor, potentially complicating the Republican Primary, and certainly increasingly the size and scope of her power power projection platform.

It wouldn’t complicate matters for Ciattarelli, he told InsiderNJ.

“I’m running and my plans won’t change,” the assemblyman said as he and his wife made their way to the Cardinale event.
