Congressman Norcross’ Statement on Camden’s Future

Following the announcement that Mayor Dana Redd will not seek a third term and Council President Frank Moran will pursue the Democratic nomination for Mayor of Camden, Congressman Norcross released the following statement.
“Camden has made extraordinary progress since 2010 under Mayor Dana Redd’s leadership, and I congratulate her on her service. She will be greatly missed, but I am confident that Council President Frank Moran is the right choice to continue to lead Camden forward. Dana and Frank have worked together with me as the city we all love and call home has experienced a historical comeback. Frank Moran has dedicated his life to providing Camden City residents with safe communities, quality public schools, and great job opportunities. He is a tireless advocate for residents and will see to it that the city invincible continues to rise.”
