U.S. Navy veteran and nationally recognized healthcare business leader Rebecca Bennett will run for the Democratic nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s 7th District next year. A working mom of two young daughters, Rebecca served in the Navy for over a decade as a helicopter pilot and aircraft commander. While in the service, she earned her M.B.A., with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, and started her family. Now she is a recognized business leader, working with mission-driven startups to advance healthcare opportunities for all Americans.

“I’ve always been driven by public service, a commitment to helping others, and a mission-first mindset—from serving in the Navy to driving innovation in healthcare. Those same values now fuel my campaign to represent the people of the 7th District,” said Bennett. “In this time when so many people are feeling uncertainty, fear, or apathy about our political system, I believe that it is critical for a new generation of leaders to step forward and do the work needed to solve problems and support the middle class.
