Democratic Candidate Keith Doll On Representative Smith’s Call For Sherrill Transparency: Sign the Epstein Files Discharge Petition

Keith Doll, a registered nurse and recently declared Democratic candidate for Congress, released the following after Congressman Smith joined his New Jersey Republican House colleagues in a statement calling it ‘imperative’ that Representative Sherrill authorize the release of her Naval Academy disciplinary and investigatory records.
“Preserving the trust of the constituents you are elected to serve is paramount to a functioning American democracy, and fighting for transparency is not a one-way street or a one-party problem. While one can respect Representative Smith’s pursuit of the truth, we should all have serious concerns that the questions directed to Congresswoman Sherrill are being made in good faith.
If the Congressman refuses to join the bipartisan group of colleagues in the House and sign the discharge petition to release, once and for all, the Epstein Files in their entirety, Representative Sherrill should by no means be expected to take any of his demands seriously, and they should be dismissed outright. Our government officials do not get to pick and choose what truth is important for the American people, especially when private personal information is illegally obtained and wrongfully distributed.”
