If you’re reading this then I know you are aware that polls open in less than 24 hours.

In fact, based on the overwhelming numbers pouring in for Democrats on Vote By Mail returns and Early Voting over the last week, you may be reading this in between houses while knocking doors or while taking a break at a local phone bank.

Because the sheer numbers already accumulated do not occur by accident, they happen because of you. But we aren't done, yet. 

Your hard work, your determination and your fervent desire to restore guardrails to our democracy and get our country back on track continue to show up in our real time data.

With the end in sight, we can’t let up.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have tremendous candidates at the top of the ticket helping our county and local candidates as it becomes more glaring each day that this fight has never been more consequential.

Cory Booker, Frank Pallone, LaMonica McIver, Rob Menendez, Donald Norcross, Josh Gottheimer, Nellie Pou, Herb Conaway, Analilia Mejia, Rebecca Bennett, Dr. Adam Hamawy, Rachel Peace and Zack Mullock represent everything that makes our State Democratic Party a model for our counterparts around the country.

New Jersey’s diversity of thought and all-inclusive demographic makeup are all on display and poised to deliver critically important wins up and down the ballot tomorrow in our federal, county and local elections.

Working together, we can take a stand against never-ending wars and policies that allow for our neighbors to be snatched off our streets without reason or process.

We can remove the politicians beholden to billionaires with their hands in our pocket and begin to restore decency against the normalized racial and gender discrimination that manifest themselves each day in the form of education, healthcare, and housing disparities.

Last year we worked to help Mikie Sherrill make history as the first Democratic woman ever elected to serve in the Governor’s Office and our governor has proven herself to be a resourceful and relentless fighter in the fundamental battle against hate and inequality.

We’ve spent months laying the groundwork to send her even more allies in that fight.  It’s time to finish the job.
