Daniel Aschenbach, who has served 18 years on Cranford’s Township Committee and was Cranford Mayor four times, today endorsed Senator Nick Scutari for Union County Democratic Chair. 

“Having Senator Scutari lead the party would certainly put Cranford in a good position for resolving the issues we face such as gun control, flood mitigation and public safety,” said Aschenbach.

“Union County is made up of urban and suburban communities, that we need to protect,” he added. “The stronger our communities are, the stronger the diversity and our being connected will be. Senator Scutari recognizes this and has fought to make Union County a better place for all its residents.”
