Former Monmouth University Pollster Launches StimSight Research

Patrick Murray proudly announces the launch of StimSight Research, a new venture that offers customized opinion research and strategic guidance for organizations across the business, non-profit, and advocacy sectors.
StimSight — a portmanteau of “stimulus” and “insight” — is built on the premise that robust, data-driven evidence leads to better decision-making. Employing an extensive array of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, StimSight offers expertise in numerous areas, including policy opinion analysis, internal team feedback, consumer service evaluations, and demographic trend tracking. From identifying emergent challenges to assessing long-term strategies, StimSight Research delivers actionable data.
“Effective communication hinges on understanding the gut-level motivators of human behavior. My background is rooted in social psychology, which tends to be too nuanced for the media polling we see reported in the public sphere. For clients who interact with the community, though, recognizing how the rational and emotional stimuli of human behavior are interconnected is critical for designing a successful game plan. That’s where StimSight Research can make a difference,” said Murray.
StimSight Research is led by Patrick Murray, a nationally recognized leader in the field of opinion research. He is the founder and former director of the respected Monmouth University Polling Institute, which was named one of the top five polling organizations in the U.S. by 538.com. Prior to this, Murray held key roles in policy and media research at Rutgers University, where his work covered a wide range of issue areas.
