Attorney Martin Hewitt announced a primary challenge to CD11 Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen this afternoon outside of the congressman’s office.  Morristown Green has the story here,  including a response from Frelinghuysen’s spokesman.   

A private practice securities lawyer, Hewitt is the first to announce a primary challenge to Frelinghuysen for Congress in the district, while several Democrats are eyeballing runs or have already announced – most recently Passaic Freeholder John Barlett this morning.
